Well, I used to think that Angel was my cat. But at some point over the past few years it has become quite obvious that in her mind at least Angel is not my cat, I am her person.
Angel is smart and loving - although she can be very particular about who she loves. She likes to give her humans regular cat baths to make sure they are well and truly covered in cat spit at all times. And she knows where the treats are kept and makes it quite clear when she wants some.
Angel is usually quite easy going. Except at the vet's office, where she likes to hiss and growl at everyone and is affectionately known as the "Dark Angel".
She's also persistent, as you can see in this video where she tries to stare me down. And she definitely knows who's boss (hint, it's not me).

Angel has nothing whatsoever to do with the Shadow World, other than offering its author some much needed and (almost) unconditional emotional support. Not to mention the many constant reminders throughout the day that there are few things more important in this world than play time and meal time.
